BOSTON (WWLP) – The Boston Bruins mascot visited Brigham and Women’s Hospital to surprise nurses and staff with Dunkin’ gift cards.
In celebration of National Nurses Week, Blades accompanied representatives of the Boston Bruins to give out $5,000 worth of Dunkin’ gift cards in the emergency department. Just hours before Game 3 of the playoffs on Friday, the hospital staff had the best morning and are so grateful for the recognition!
The Bruins were defeated by the Panthers 6 to 2 on Friday and again on Sunday’s Game 4 with the Panthers leading 3 to 2. Game 5 takes place Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Florida.
