Pyramids Club announced this evening, Thursday, the date and referees of its match with Esperance in the African Champions League.
Pyramids will play Esperance at six in the evening on Sunday, January 5, at Air Defense Stadium, as part of the matches of the fourth round of the group stage of the 2024-25 African Champions League.
The Pyramids media center explained that the match will be officiated by Congolese referee Jesse Nokonkwo, assisted by his compatriot Stephen Mutasi, the first assistant referee, Malundi Chani, the second assistant referee, and Andre Kolsala, the fourth referee from the Central African country.
Pyramids had started the tournament by defeating Sagrada with a score of 5-1, before drawing with Djoliba without goals, and then losing to Esperance with a score of 2-0, while the sheikh of Tunisian clubs started the tournament by beating Djoliba with a score of 4-0, and then tied with Sagrada without goals. Goals before defeating Pyramids 2-0.
The Tunisian team enters this match occupying first place in the fourth and final group table with 7 points, while Pyramids is in second place with 4 points.
