Sheikh Saeed Abdel Azim died as a stranger, an immigrant, fleeing his religion from the tyrants of Egypt, so he stayed in Medina and was buried on Monday, June 3, 2024 AD in Al-Baqi, where what every honest person wished for was different from the pretenders whom his eyes knew and whose heart did not agree with them.
May God have mercy on him, he was one of the senior sheikhs in the Salafist Call in Alexandria until he left them after their position on the coup against President Dr. Mohamed Morsi, who preferred death for his goal rather than bowing to the oppressors.
Dr. recorded. Talaat Fahmy, the media spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, mourned the group’s death in Sheikh Saeed Abdel-Azim. In a statement, he said: “The Muslim Brotherhood mourns the preacher Sheikh Saeed Abdel-Azim, who passed away after a journey of giving and effort in calling to God and speaking the word of truth before an unjust sultan.”
He added, “We ask God to accept him among the righteous, raise his ranks in the highest heavens, and grant his family, lovers, and students beautiful patience… We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”

Alexandrian lawyer and YouTuber Abdullah Elshrif @AbdullahElshrif, who is a former member of the Salafist Call, said: “I asked to meet him when I visited the city in 2015 and we met at dawn in the Mosque of the Messenger of God, and when I asked him about his opinion of Sheikh Yasser Borhami, I expected him to turn away in a dramatic gesture and give me a piece of wisdom that I would write down.” About him one day, and he said: But don’t call him a sheikh, so we laughed and every time I saw a picture of him I smiled, and here I am mourning him today while smiling, and how can you grieve for someone who spent his life obeying God and never accepted inferiority in his religion, in his homeland, or even in exile? I lived dearly and died in peace. White and shining like your smiling, kind face. May God have mercy on you, virtuous educator, and praise be to God who made you remain the way you are until death.

In a translation and report compiled by the academic Radwan Jaballah via Facebook, he said: “(The faces of that day will be radiant. Laughing and rejoicing.) We consider him, and God, to be his judge, among the pious and among the working scholars… He passed away to the mercy of God, with His permission, the preacher, the Mujahid, stationed in his cause, Sheikh #Dr. Medina after a struggle with injustice and transgression.”
He added that he, may God have mercy on him, “spoke out loudly with the word of truth while the swords were around his neck… and the flags of hypocrisy and slander were in his ear… he shouted in the faces of the oppressors, the hypocrites and the apostates, and he sided with the good word, the blessed call, and the believing group, and his heart was not removed except for his Lord and Master, and God made his foot firm on the day the feet of many slipped… Congratulations to you.” O happy sheikh, O departed, towards His Excellency, to a generous Lord..
-He has been busy with advocacy and public speaking since he was a high school student
He remained on the path of advocacy after becoming a doctor and a prominent social figure in Alexandria society
He has hundreds of recorded educational and advocacy episodes
He participated in charitable, civil and public affairs work and participated in establishing the Sharia Commission for Rights and Reform
Politicians, leaders and scholars of authority approached him when the coup took place to remain silent and remain neutral and threatening, but he sided with the truth and rejected oppression and remained steadfast in the truth until they abused him and prevented him from any advocacy or social activity. He did not care and remained steadfast.
-He left more than forty advocacy books, including a book and a treatise
Then Ridwan concluded, may God bless him, with a supplication: “O God, forgive him, have mercy on him, heal him, pardon him, honor his stay, and accept him into the group of the Ansar, the Emigrants, and those who followed them in goodness. We belong to God, and to Him we shall return.”
Knowledge and patience

Oh God, compensate him with your generosity and accept his effort, knowledge, and patience.. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.. As for the academic and Salafist preacher, Dr. Abdulaziz Kamel, he wrote on Facebook, “If Nour al-Haq had a party in Egypt, then Sheikh Saeed Abdel-Azim would have truly been one of its founders, and if he had pioneered the approach of the Salaf in Egypt; The sheikh would have had a great share in his success in following his disciples… May God’s blessings be upon the soul of the sheikh who led to what he had achieved, and what we know is that he offered the satisfaction of the truth, even if it was bitter, in accordance with the will of creation, so he lived freely and died righteously… We consider him to be so and we do not praise him, and everyone who works hard for his Lord will find Him. And the Sheikh – for those who do not know him – is one of those who preferred the soundness of the method over the soundness of the method..”
Journalist and former broadcaster on the Holy Quran Radio, Dr. Mahmoud Khalil, mourned him, saying: “May God have mercy, mercy, and satisfaction upon the resident of Al-Baqi, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Saeed Abdel Azim, 00, who had a special taste among the Salafists, and a special divine breath among the preachers of the era, 00 of which we consider him to be on a level of honesty with the truth.” And creation… sincere condolences and sympathy to all Muslims in the entire world… and to God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

Account of the Word of Truth @77las2 wrote in his obituary, “And so our sheikhs and venerable scholars either leave the world, are imprisoned from it, emigrate from it, or are silenced in it.. And thus knowledge is taken away as the scholars are taken away.. And he was one of the mujahideen in his path to support the truth and make the home of his sojourn a witness to his sincerity.” His work is for you, not for this world or for anything else.”
