Journalist Ahmed Schubert revealed the names of the three top players joining the ranks of the Egyptian Olympic team at the Paris Olympics>

Ahmed Schubert said in his radio program: The management of the Turkish Trabzon Club refused to have Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet join the ranks of the Egyptian Olympic team, and this is an inherent right of the Turkish club and other clubs because the Paris Olympics matches do not fall on the international agenda, but they are international matches.

Schubert explained that the French national team, the organizer of the Olympics, had previously asked Kylian Mbappe to participate with the French teams in the Olympics, but the Real Madrid club management refused due to scheduling conflicts with the team’s preparations for the new season, which Mbappe did not object to.

Schubert added that Mikali, the director of the Egyptian Olympic team, settled on four names in different positions: Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Al-Ahly defender, Imam Ashour, Al-Ahly midfielder, and Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, Zamalek midfielder and goalkeeper, who will be from Al-Ahly club.

Schubert continued that Micali’s priority in the Olympic team is to include a goalkeeper who will be from Al-Ahly club, and the technical director has decided categorically on including Mohamed Abdel Moneim.

Ahmed Schubert explained that the chance of Emam Ashour joining is greater than Zizou, but the latter is among the strong candidates to join the ranks of the Egyptian Olympic team in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
