Actress Laila Taher responded to the news that recently spread about her exposure to a health problem, her admission to the hospital, and then her death.
Laila said in an exclusive statement to “Laha”: “Everything that is said are rumors, and this matter bothers me a lot. Thank God, I am fine and in good health, and I spend my time with my family and friends.”
She added: “I don’t know why there is such a rush to my death. If I died, all people would know. Currently, I am trying to compensate my family for the period of my absence due to my preoccupation with artistic work.”
As for the possibility of her returning to the art scene after making the decision to retire from art, she said: “There is no going back to my decision to retire from art, and I will not return to the world of art, and I will be content with the work I have presented over the past years.”
Laila Taher revealed her opinion about the artistic works currently presented, saying: “I watched a number of good series, but the cinema is not in the best condition, and the works that are shown do not live with the audience, and most of the artists of the current generation are diligent, but they are not stars.”
