Artist Tharaa Jbeil revealed her work in art journalism for a year, and said: “I love writing and I tried journalism, because I was interested in writing and art in general, and I did investigations on foreign cinema and I was not just an art journalist presenting an important topic to the reader. Ahmed Al-Saadani
In several programs, the artist Ahmed Al-Saadani spoke about his experience, and confirmed that he worked as a journalist, since he was a student in the third year of middle school until the third year of university, influenced by his uncle, the late journalist writer Mahmoud Al-Saadani, who described him as “his pen was writing sugar.”
Al-Saadani explained the reason behind his retreat from working in the field of journalism, explaining that he wrote a response to an article about his uncle, in Al-Ahram Sports newspaper, and the journalist writer Ibrahim Hegazy published it on the last page, which angered the uncle, and that is why he made the decision to stay away from journalism after this. During his appearance on the “Last Word” program, the artist Khaled Al-Sawy confirmed that he is a trained journalist for Sabah Al-Khair magazine.
Lotfi Labib
Artist Lotfy Labib, for his part, and during his honor at the Alexandria Film Festival, said: “I tried the profession of journalism, but I found that acting and journalism cannot stay together, and everything is separate and does not accept a partner, and when I tried journalism for a year and a half a day, it was a very difficult matter, and after that I apologized and said Let me act better.”
Saeed Abdul Ghani
The late artist Saeed Abdel Ghani, after graduating from the Faculty of Law, succeeded, thanks to his talent in writing, in working as a journalist in the accidents section of Al-Ahram newspaper. Two years later, he worked as a military correspondent for the newspaper, during the 1967 war.
