Abdullah Al-Saeed, Hamza Al-Mathlouthi, Hossam Abdel-Maguid, Nasser Mansi, and Ahmed Sayed Zizo scored for Zamalek in the penalty shootout.
Al-Ahly plays in the Super Cup as the champion of the Egyptian League, and Pyramids is the winner of the Egyptian Cup, while Ceramica is the winner of the Club League Cup, and Zamalek received an invitation to participate in the tournament in what was known as the Golden Card, as the fourth participating team, after coordination with the company sponsoring the tournament.
The UAE is hosting the Egyptian Super Cup for the eighth time in the tournament’s history, as the first time was in the 2015 edition, while the last edition was late last year in 2023.
The Egyptian Super Cup tournament was launched in 2001, and 21 editions have been played so far, of which Al-Ahly has won two thirds with 14 titles.
