The director and producer passed away today Tariq Al-KashefThe news of his death was announced by his brother Ahmed Al-Kashef, who wrote on his Facebook account, saying: “All matters belong to God before and after. To God we belong and to Him we shall return. My brother, producer and director Tariq Al-Kashef, has passed away.”
Media personality Shafki Al-Muniri was also keen to mourn him through her Facebook account, where she published a picture of him, commenting on it: “Unfortunately sad news… the passing of the creative professor, great producer and director Tariq Al-Kashef… all sophistication, morals, literature and courage with sophisticated taste.”

She continued: “I worked with him a lot and for years, the last of which was until 2013 at the Orbit station. He is creative and meticulous in his work. May God protect you, Tariq. May God have mercy on you and honor you. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
Tariq Al-Kashef worked as an assistant director or executive director in works including: Between Heaven and Earth, The Owner of Maqam, Qarmat Bayt Qarmat, The Highest Price, Ard Al-Nafaq, and other works.
