Books – Moataz Abbas:
Emirati artist Habib Ghuloum Al-Attar announced the death of Jamal Al Jasmi, brother of Emirati artist Hussein Al Jasmi, and journalist Saleh Al Jasmi.
Habib Ghuloum wrote, through his official account on the social networking site “Facebook”: “There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great, the brother and colleague Jamal Al Jasmi, who has passed away, the brother of the great artist Hussein Al Jasmi, the journalist Saleh Al Jasmi, and the composer Fahd Al Jasmi.”
He added: “May God have mercy on him, forgive him, and give patience to his family and lovers. My sincere condolences to the honorable family and the artistic family in the Emirates. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
It is noteworthy that Emirati singer Hussein Al Jasmi performed a huge concert, in the middle of the pyramids in the Sound and Light Zone, recently, in the presence of a large number of stars of art, sports, media, and public figures.
