The Egyptian youth team wins over Mauritania 2-1 in the friendly tournament in Algeria


The Egyptian youth team, led by Wael Riad, achieved victory over its Mauritanian counterpart with two goals to one in the second confrontation in the friendly tournament in Algeria, to achieve the first three points of the tournament.


The Egyptian national team lost its first confrontation against Algeria in the match between the two teams last Wednesday, with a score of 2-1.


The friendly tournament will be held in Algeria with the participation of the teams of Egypt, Tunisia, and Mauritania, in addition to the host Algerian team. The youth team will play its second match in the tournament against Mauritania today, and conclude its matches on the 25th by facing Tunisia.


The youth team players underwent physical and physical measurements before the friendly session, within the framework of the physical program set by Wael Riyad, the technical director, and Dr. Qasim Qadri, the physical trainer.


Alaa Nabil, the technical director of the Football Association, and Mohamed Youssef, the assistant technical director supervising the youth and junior teams, were keen to attend the last training session before traveling to support the technical staff and players before traveling. Alaa Nabil held a session with all members of the team during which he asked them to do their best in order to present a strong tournament. Emphasizing that this generation is the future of Egyptian football, stressing continued support and meeting the team’s needs in order to achieve the desired goals.
