Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, Izzat Al-Rishq, said that a permanent ceasefire is the only guarantee for our people and there is no concession to complete withdrawal and the return of the displaced.
The Walla website quoted an Israeli official as saying that the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” responded to the mediators’ proposal by agreeing to release only 20 prisoners in exchange for a six-week ceasefire.
The US State Department said that Israel made major concessions in the latest proposed ceasefire proposal and the obstacle is the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” saying: “We are still seeking a prisoner agreement that would allow for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.”
