US-based space company Above Space, formerly known as Orbital Assembly, aims to launch two space stations with tourist accommodation: Voyager Station and Pioneer Station. “Where commerce, research and entertainment in space will flourish,” in the coming year.

According to what was reported by “The Sun” website, it is scheduled to accommodate 28 people and be a smaller version of the Voyager station, which is scheduled to accommodate 400 people and will be opened in 2027.

Both are expected to resemble a ferris wheel orbiting the Earth, with interiors not unlike those of a luxury hotel on Earth, only with surreal views of the solar system.

The small, stylish rooms on board the station have a view, a bed and a desk for even the most remote work.

Above Space said on its website that guests can now book their next vacation at the upscale resort in space on Pioneer Station.

“Reserve your spot aboard the world’s first all-inclusive luxury space hotel and enjoy stunning views of space from your gravity-filled hotel room,” the announcement reads, adding, “Inside Pioneer Station, you’ll enjoy amenities not available on other space platforms.”

The four- to 18-hour trip to the station will cost guests at least $55 million, and hotel costs will be paid in addition to launch costs, which Above Space said will decrease significantly as technology advances over the next few years.

The station is set to provide all the “amenities” one might enjoy on Earth, such as showers and the ability to eat and drink while seated, thanks to artificial gravity.

But guests will also be able to enjoy a private room where gravity is lower and they can float and spin like astronauts.
