Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry confirmed, on Thursday, that the ideas put forward to provide humanitarian aid to the brothers in Gaza are welcomed by Egypt, whether by land, sea or air, pointing out the difficult conditions and the continuing suffering in Gaza with the death of a large number of children due to the lack of water, food and medicines, noting responsibility. The Foreign Minister pointed out, in a press conference with the Spanish Foreign Minister, the importance of accelerating the entry of aid, explaining that the floating port he is planning will begin operation after two months, which cannot be delayed. The Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out the need to take into account the humanitarian situation in Gaza with the high number of victims of children, women and the elderly, explaining that Egypt is working every effort to achieve a ceasefire, conclude a prisoner exchange deal, and provide the opportunity to implement humanitarian aid and allow UNRWA to continue its role in Gaza, praising the great role played by the agency.
