The Mufti of the Republic mourns the passing of Lalla Latifa, mother of King Mohammed VI of Morocco

Dr. Shawky Allam mourned –Mufti of the RepublicHead of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World – Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, mother of King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Moroccowho passed away yesterday evening.

The Mufti extended his sincere condolences to King Mohammed VI The Royal Family and the brotherly Moroccan people mourn the passing of the deceased, may God have mercy on her, praying to God Almighty to have mercy on her and to grant her the highest level of Paradise, to place her among the righteous, and to inspire her family with patience and solace.

The Dean of the Nobles expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Kingdom of Morocco, its leadership, government and people, on the death of Mrs. Lalla Latifa, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon her, to raise her status, and to grant her family and relatives patience and solace, “To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”



Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, one of the scholars, also presented Holy Azhar My sincere condolences to King Mohammed VI of Morocco, on the death of Princess Lalla Latifa, his mother.

Al-Azhari said in a statement: “It is with great sadness and sorrow that we mourn the death of Princess Lalla Latifa, the mother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. We ask God to cover the deceased with His vast mercy and to place her in His spacious paradise.”

Yesterday, Saturday, the Royal Palace in Morocco announced the death of Princess Lalla Latifa, the mother of Moroccan King Mohammed VI.
