This evening, two new areas were opened within the Riyadh Season 2024, namely “Souk Al Awalin” and “Duns of Arabia”, offering unique experiences that combine heritage and entertainment.
“Souk Al Awaleen”, one of the free areas during the Riyadh Season, which returned in a new look this year, highlights the Saudi heritage through musical, folkloric and handicraft shows that give visitors the opportunity to learn about traditional industries such as weaving and pottery making.
The area located in the exhibition hall in the Eastern Ring Road also includes interactive platforms that include activities such as Sadu weaving and a cooking experience, in addition to the “Sufra Al Deira” area, which offers delicious popular dishes.
For children, the market offers heritage-inspired activities, making it an ideal destination for families and promoting support for local artisans.
As for the Al-Touqi area, north of Riyadh, Dunes of Arabia takes visitors on a journey into the heart of the desert. The area offers distinctive experiences, including camel, horse and quad bike rides among the sand dunes, in addition to educational and entertainment activities for children.
Visitors can enjoy a luxury camping experience and evenings under the stars featuring live music performances. The place combines authenticity and modernity, making it an exceptional destination during this year’s Riyadh season.
The area includes a center dedicated to adventure enthusiasts for exciting experiences. Visitors can experience riding camels and authentic Arabian horses, in addition to taking trips on quad bikes across the sand dunes in a safe environment that adheres to the highest safety standards.
