In his telegram, the Palestinian President expressed his sincere condolences and sympathies to His Eminence the Grand Imam and his honorable family, saying: “We extend to your Eminence and your honorable family our sincere condolences and sympathy, and we pray to God – the Most High, the Almighty – to cover the deceased with his vast mercy, and to reside in the highest paradise in heaven, and to protect you, your loved ones, and dear Egypt.” And the honorable Al-Azhar, with its care, mercy and well-being.
