Many artists mourned the pioneer of comedy in Morocco, artist Mustafa Dassoukin, who passed away at the age of 82.
The late actor was famous for his comedic roles in many Moroccan series and films, and he also presented a “famous duo” with his life partner, actor Mustafa Al-Zaari.
He is considered one of the most prominent folk artists, in theater and television, and his works, which are characterized by family humor, have been very popular in the countries of the Maghreb.
It is noteworthy that the late Dasouki was born on July 14, 1942 in Casablanca, and is considered one of the best Moroccan actors, as he had a long artistic career that lasted four decades of giving and effort, during which he participated in a number of films and series, in addition to many comedic works.
Among his most famous plays are: “Bint Al-Kharaz”, “Half a Mind”, “Al-Jilali Travolta”, “Al-Zawaq Yatir”, “Al-Qadiya Fiha An”, “Qulu Al-Aam Zain”, “Sharab Aqlu”, “Al-Muddir Al-Jadeed”, “Al-Majlis Al-Majen”, and others.
He made a strong appearance in TV series such as “Five and Thursday”, “Six from Sixty”, “Bouchta and Boghtaya”, “Al-Ghalia”, “Tears of Men”, “Shawk Al-Sidra”, and “The Family of Si Marbouh”, in addition to his distinguished presence in a number of sitcoms such as “Khair and Peace”, “Radio Walk Walk”, “Laughter in It and in It”, and “The Fugitives”.
