Mohamed Moselhi, President of Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria, arrived; Zamzam Hospital headquarters in Alexandria to check on the condition of player “Ahmed Refaat”, star of the Modern Future team; Who fell on the field during a match between the two teams at Alexandria Stadium.
The 88th minute of the match between Al-Ittihad Alexandria and Modern Future, on Monday evening, witnessed; Modern Future player Ahmed Refaat was injured as he fell in the middle of the field amid demands from the audience and fans to end the match.
Medical sources revealed that the player suffered from decreased blood circulation and a heart attack and was transferred to Zamzam Hospital in Alexandria and placed under a defibrillator.
Al-Ittihad Alexandria and Modern Future players went to the hospital to check on the condition of player Ahmed Refaat.
Dozens of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club fans gathered in front of the hospital to check on the player and monitor his condition.
