Today, Saturday, the price of gold in Egypt decreased by 5 pounds by mid-day trading compared to the morning prices, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said, as 21 karat was at 2,925 pounds, then it decreased to record 2,920 pounds by three in the afternoon.
The price of a gram also decreased by 5 pounds in morning trading, compared to its price yesterday evening, driven by the decline in the price of the dollar on the black market after the signing of financial flows from the Ras El Hekma project agreement for the Central Bank.

14-karat gold prices fell to 1947 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold fell to about 2502 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold fell to 2920 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold fell to about 3337 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 23,360 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
