The trial of player Ahmed Yasser Al-Mohammadi begins on charges of assaulting a girl

The trial session of Ahmed Yasser Al-Mohammadi, football player for the Qatari Al-Rayyan Club, and brother of former Zamalek star Hussein Yasser Al-Mohammadi, has just begun before the Cairo Criminal Court, held at the Abdeen Court, on charges of assaulting a foreign girl in the State of Qatar.

The trial of Ahmed Yasser Al-Mohammadi will continue today, headed by Counselor Wael Zahran and including Counselors Mahmoud Rashdan and Abdullah Salam.

The Central Cairo Public Prosecution decided to refer Ahmed Yasser Al-Mohammadi, a football player in Qatar, and the brother of Hussein Yasser Al-Mohammadi, a former star of Zamalek Club, to criminal trial, on charges of assaulting a girl in Qatar.

Investigations revealed that the player was accused of assaulting a girl in the State of Qatar. After the girl filed a report, he was investigated by the investigating authorities, who released him until a medical examination was conducted on her, and the veracity of her statements and the accusation against her were determined.

Investigations indicated that the accused, as soon as the decision was issued, returned to Egypt, so the investigation authorities contacted Interpol to arrest him and complete the investigations. He was arrested in Sharm El-Sheikh, and detained in Abdeen Police Station, and a report was prepared in Abdeen Police Station.

During the investigations, the player said that he was in a relationship with the girl who filed the report, and that he did not assault her, but that it happened with her consent and after an agreement with her, contrary to the statements of the girl who accused him of luring her to his apartment and assaulting her.
