The European Football Association (UEFA) announced on Wednesday that the German city of Frankfurt will host the European League final in 2027.
This will be the third time a German city has hosted the event, after Hamburg in 2010 and Cologne in 2020.
Meanwhile, Leipzig will host the Conference League final in 2026.
The UEFA Executive Committee decided during a meeting in Dublin before the final match of the European League – which will be held later today and brings together Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta – that the Hungarian capital, Budapest, will host the Champions League final in 2026.

The decision to hold the 2027 final has been suspended until next September, until the Italian Football Federation provides information about plans to renovate the San Siro Stadium in Milan.
In addition, UEFA granted Istanbul the right to host the final of the European League in 2026 and the European Conference League in 2027.
