Winner Jerusalem 2024 marathon shirt revealed! Nearly 30,000 runners have so far registered for the Winner Jerusalem Marathon
The expectation is for the participation of about 40,000 runners and about 50,000 participants: a record number in the history of the Winner Jerusalem Marathon.
In an exciting ceremony for the opening of the marathon events, Mayor Moshe Leon, CEO of Jerusalem Municipality Itzik Larry and Toto Winner CEO Meir Bardugo presented plaques of honor to the running groups of Gaza Wrap and the official marathon shirt was unveiled
The Winner Jerusalem International Marathon, which will be held this year as a salute to the security and rescue forces, kicked off at the launch of the official marathon shirt at the National Athletics Stadium in Givat Ram.
The event was held in the presence of the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon, CEO of the Jerusalem Municipality Itzik Larry, CEO of Toto Winner Meir Bardugo, Chairman of Toto, Shabtai Tzur and the running groups of Outaf Gaza that will participate in the upcoming marathon on March 8. During the event, Leon, Bardugo and Larry awarded honor shields to the representatives of the Barry running team and the “Wrap Triathlon” running team.
As part of the event, on the chairs of Givat Ram, yellow balloons were hung, for Zion 134 kidnappings.
Barry’s marathon group has 12 participants and on the seventh of October group member Hagai Avni was murdered while fighting with the kibbutz’s emergency squad. The members of the group were evacuated to the various hotels in the Dead Sea and after about two months the group was merged with other runners, the members of the kibbutzim fed and protected for a running routine as before.
The Otaf triathlon group consists of the following Otaf settlements: Kfar Gaza, Nir Oz, Eshkol, Shaar Hanegev, Ashkelon beach. On the seventh of October, they lost their group member, the late Nadav Goldstein, who was murdered in his home in Kfar Gaza, and two members of the group were seriously injured.

So far, approximately 30,000 runners have registered for the Winner Jerusalem Marathon, marking 13 years, of which 6,000 are reservists and their families and 7,000 regular soldiers. In addition, over 1,000 runners from abroad were also registered, who will come to Israel and take part in this year’s exciting race. It is expected that about 40,000 runners will participate in the marathon, which is a record number in the history of the Winner Jerusalem Marathon. The winner Jerusalem marathon includes 6 stages: full marathon (42.2 km); half marathon (21.1 km); 10 km; 5 km; Family race (1.7 km) and community race (800 meters).
The Winner Jerusalem International Marathon is managed by the Sports Department of the Jerusalem Municipality, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Development Authority, with the support and assistance of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Tourism and under the primary sponsorship of Toto Winner.
The runners who register for the competition will receive a product package that includes: an official SAUCONY race shirt, a chest number according to the individual jump division, a one-time electronic measuring chip (chip) and many more promotions and benefits.
