Yesterday evening, Wednesday, October 16, the first episode of the audition stage for the seventh season of “ARABS GOT TALENT,” shown on MBC Egypt, began, with the participation of talents carrying their dreams and heading to Riyadh to present their exceptional performances on the stage of a program that brings together distinguished Arab talents from all over the world.
With the arrival of the program’s presenter, Raya Abi Rashid, to the studio, she indicated that standing on the program’s stage represents an opportunity of a lifetime and a great responsibility for the talents, pointing to the intense efforts made by each participant and his attention to the smallest details to present his show, in an effort to pass the stages and reach the finals, as the winner of the stage will receive The final amount is 250 thousand Saudi riyals and a car.
The jury arrived, consisting of: Nasser Al-Qasabi, Najwa Karam, and Bassem Youssef. Nasser revealed that one of his dreams was to see a similar program filmed in the heart of Riyadh. Najwa expressed her great longing and love for the program, which was absent from the screen for about five years, while Bassem expressed his happiness and pride in being part of an experience capable of changing people’s lives.
The beginning was with Tamim Al Harithi from Saudi Arabia, who presented a theatrical performance based on ventriloquism, and changed his voice in a dialogue between him and a paper parrot. The committee praised his performance and gave him 3 yeses. He was followed by Mustafa Bilal from Algeria, who narrated that when he was blind for a whole year, he understood what those who are deprived of one of the senses feel, until he received a cornea from someone he did not know and his sight returned to him, adding, “I can “To feel and be freer than I did before I lost my sight.” Mustafa used a paper that changed its shape and size repeatedly and through it told a deep story with a striking performance that impressed the committee and came out with 3 yeses.
From Lebanon and Greece, the duo Elviria and Carlos performed a dangerous aerial act, hanging in the air, and got 3 yeses. From Egypt and Russia, the UDI Dance team presented a show that dazzled the committee and prompted Nasser to press the golden button. Najwa described what they presented as a global show, which carries everything from tears, joy, freedom, diligence, struggle, and struggle, considering that such a program was created for people like them. Bassem revealed that since their entry, he had been anticipating a beautiful show, and his intuition was correct.
In another area, some participants stressed the importance of the support and encouragement they receive from family and friends in order to develop and hone their talents. This is what happened with the nine-year-old Nelly from Egypt, who gave a performance in which she showed great flexibility and control of her body muscles, and won 3 yeses.
Among the street performances, the Moroccan family “Cirus Family”, consisting of a man, a woman, and their three children, presented a distinctive show, which prompted Najwa to address the woman and say, “You are the role model and support of this family,” and Bassem described her as an example of will, challenge, and overcoming difficulties. Nasser expressed his admiration for their exciting show. The family got 3 yes. As for Ahmed Shushan from Tunisia, he said that he failed a lot in his life, and decided to overcome the difficulties, and presented a group of the sounds of things and animals with his mouth, before Bassem and Nasser joined the stage to participate in his show, and gave it depth and beauty, and they gave him 3 yes. The Bartigerzz team was the last to perform on stage in the first episode of the auditions. It is a team consisting of 4 young men from Algeria and France, one of whom is Nabil, who had previously participated in the fourth season of the program, and qualified for the semi-finals that day. The team got 3 yeses.
The participants will continue to present their performances next week, within the second episode of the auditions. Who are the talents that will be striking and who among them will receive the golden button from Najwa and Bassem?
