From today, the four mobile companies, Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, and Telecom Egypt (WE), will begin selling the eSIM after its approval by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
Today, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced the launch of eSIM technology in the Egyptian market, after the four mobile operators completed all the technical tests necessary to operate the service.
Telecommunications companies will provide an eSIM chip at a price of 270 pounds. It is compatible with some types of new smartphones and cannot be activated in an old phone as it will be integrated into the phone.
