Artist Daoud Hussein topped the lists of social networking sites, with the spread of news of his Kuwaiti citizenship being withdrawn.
While no official decision or comment has been issued to confirm or deny what is being raised about the famous comedian star, here we monitor the most important information about him.
Who is Dawood Hussein?
Daoud Hussein was born on November 5, 1958 in the Al-Sawaber area in Kuwait.
He began his activity through school theater, and in the play “The Will of the Deceased” in 1974, it was his first step into the world of acting.
Throughout his career, Daoud Hussein presented more than 50 television series, including “Dream Boy,” “Tomorrow Life Begins,” “Life Has Rest,” “Al-Hawail Mall,” and “Abra Street.”
Daoud presented 47 comedic plays, including “Hello,” “Crisis and Transgression,” “The Beautiful Policewoman,” “Vitamin W,” and “His Excellency the Ambassador.”
In 1998, Fawazir presented “David in Hollywood.”

Daoud Hussein presented several programs, including “Daoud Show,” “Dourie El-Nujoum,” and “Fasel and We Are Back with Daoud.”
He is married to a Lebanese woman and has two children, Hussein and Ali.
Daoud, who was rumored to be of Pakistani origin, during his appearance on the “Hala Ramadan” program on Rotana Khalijia, spoke about the delay in obtaining Kuwaiti citizenship.
Daoud said: “I was born in Kuwait and since my day I have been attached to it. I have never felt like a stranger on this land, and my belonging to it is not determined by a piece of paper or a document. Belonging is within the heart.”
He added: “When you love the soil of a land, you will sacrifice everything for it, and this is an immeasurable feeling that is within a person.”
In October 2001, Dawoud Hussein obtained Kuwaiti citizenship, pursuant to a decision from the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and before that he held a Bolivian passport.
