Yalla Koura reveals the position of Al-Ahly injured players regarding facing Esperance

The Al-Ahly club’s first football team delegation will leave for Tunisia next Wednesday evening, in preparation for facing Esperance in the first leg of the African Champions League final.

Al-Ahly Club will host Esperance next Saturday, at 10:00 pm at Rades Stadium.

Technical director Marcel Kohler is scheduled to lead the last training session before traveling, then choose the list with which he will depart for Tunisia at eight in the evening.

A source said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura that Ahmed Abdel Qader and Amr Al-Soulia, the two midfielders, will participate in group training gradually, starting tomorrow, after recovering from the muscle injuries that kept them away in the past period.

He added: “Although the duo have started participating, there is difficulty in their participation in the Esperance match next Saturday.”

He explained: “Ahmed Nabil Koka has recovered, and will gradually participate in training tomorrow. Also, Marwan Attia and Akram Tawfiq are ready for the match, so that the midfield trio will be ready to travel with the team to Tunisia and play against Esperance.”

He continued: “There is a tendency within the technical staff to take the duo, Aliou Dieng and Mohamed El-Shenawy, to Tunisia to be with their colleagues after they have fully recovered and are ready to participate in the matches.”
