Because my people left 48 years ago in the Deir Yassin massacres, and they are among those deprived of the right to return, and their file is the largest file in the United Nations, and my permit was rejected 3 times to visit Palestine.”
Yasmine Rais continued, “I was bold, and after I became a mother and had a home and a family, I became afraid of change in place and routine, and I changed my hair and appearance all the time, and this helped me in my work, and I went to a psychiatrist.”
