Youssef Zidane: I do not accept to be a cog in a political game

Writer and thinker Youssef Zidan said that there are roles that he cannot play, no matter the benefit.

He added during an interview with the “On the Stage” program on Channel One, which was shown on Thursday evening, that he does not accept to be bought or sold, and he does not accept to be a cog in a political game.

He explained that he does not accept trading in ideas under any circumstances, pointing out that his actions and opinions, which caused disturbance to some, were aware of this reaction in advance.

He indicated that he saw the necessity of saying these things at this time, in order to take the necessary action against them before it is too late.

He continued: “Of course, I appreciate the results of situations, otherwise I live in pleasure… I leave this pleasure to others.”
