Zamalek and Ismaily meet this evening at Cairo International Stadium, in the 30th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek returned from Ismailia in the first round summit this season, with a goalless draw.
Both Zamalek and Ismaily hope to correct their situation in the Egyptian League, with the former occupying ninth place with 38 points (23 matches), and the latter falling into thirteenth place with 31 points (29 matches).
Neither Zamalek nor Ismaily won their last match, as coach Jose Gomez’s team tied 1-1 with Pharco, and coach Ehab Galal’s men lost 1-0 to Ceramica Cleopatra.

It is noteworthy that Ahmed Sayed Zizo will be absent from the match between Zamalek and Ismaily due to his summoning to the list of the Egyptian Olympic team that will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer.
